3rd Line Server & Storage Engineer

Our client, a leading international professional services organisation are looking to recruit a Senior 3rd Line Server & Storage Engineer. The primary responsibility of the Technical Consultant will be the proactive management and support of the company’s infrastructure by ensuring the entire environment is run in the most efficient manner, capacity and resource allocations are planned and monitored and that the technology is always up to date

The key skills and experience needed for this 3rd Line Server & Storage Engineer are highlighted below

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) with expert skills in troubleshooting 2nd & 3rd level VMware issues
• Strong VMware vSphere 4 and 5 skills
• Experience of creating virtual templates.
• Experience with P2V server conversions.
• Experience with vCloud Director, Site Recovery Manager & Veeam

Soft Skills

• Experienced in dealing with 3rd party service providers.
• Proven track record of working on medium to large projects, working to deadlines and managing expectations.
• Good communicator with experience in communicating both written and verbal to senior management.
• Good documentation skills.
