This is a new role and has come about due to significant growth and investment across the company and is part of our strategy for ongoing development.
Main Purpose of the Job
- Support Finance and Accounting Functions
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To maintain the Sales Ledgers and ensure that these are kept up to date and accurate.
- Raise Customer invoices as required
- Credit control, to include sending statement and telephoning clients
- Reconciliation of Nominal Ledger control accounts on a monthly basis.
- Support as required for Financial Controller and other members of the Accounts team.
- Provide support to month end accounting procedures.
- Develop and maintain skills and knowledge required to operate information technology systems in order to perform tasks required to meet job objectives in particular Sage Accounting, MS Excel and Word.
- Know and supply required quality standards for accounting routines, maintain required level of accuracy and carry out duties in accordance with company and statutory standards.

- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- AAT Qualified or Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and “can do” attitude, excellent phone manner
