The Company

Founded 15 years ago the company specialise in treating the symptoms suffered due to neurological conditions and since 2010 have doubled in size by expanding their research into different therapeutic areas. The new areas of research include Diabetes, Epilepsy, Schizophrenia and Colitis helping to expand the company’s strong pipeline. Due to this continued success, the site is currently undergoing a multi million pound expansion to ensure the company’s continued growth. They have all the functions necessary to support their research including formulation, drug development, manufacture, clinical trial support, compliance and regulatory affairs functions all located on this site. The company are rightly proud of their product pipeline and their aim is to keep their position at the front of cutting edge research in their unique field.

The Role

Your role as an Analytical Technician will be to conduct analysis of pharmaceutical products which are currently under development to support the R&D function of the company. You will follow SOP’s to analyse the samples using a range of techniques including HPLC, GC, and Dissolution. The data produced will be collated to be used in support of the development of the company’s next generation of products.

Experience

You will need to have a relevant Life Science degree or equivalent preferably with experience of using analytical techniques either during your studies or in an industrial setting. You do not need to be experienced in all techniques listed above but if you are this will be an advantage.
