THE COMPANY PROFILE:

The company are an Award winning provider of Consumer Packaging Solutions to a wide range of markets including Food, Beverage and luxury goods in both the UK and Europe. Their clients are some of the most reputable and well-known blue chip manufacturers.

As part of their continued growth plans they are now looking to recruit an Account Manager to work within this division, who is looking to develop their career with a market leading and profitable organisation that can offer incredible growth opportunities.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role will initially require you to manage 1 or 2 large accounts and to network through the separate departments offering consumer packaging solutions. The role will be very much a relationship building role and the ability to network and create long standing relationships is a pre-requisite.
You will be comfortable creating your own plan and skilled in executing it. You will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. A natural territory planner who critically assesses your own performance, you will be credible and comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts and have the gravitas which enables you to access all levels of contact within the target businesses and sectors.

REQUIREMENTS:

We are interested in receiving applications from a career minded Account Managers with an understanding of the FMCG market, ideally with knowledge of the corrugated industry or packaging sales, however, this is not essential as they are happy to consider candidates with a proven track record of success selling of developing a design led product or a technical salesperson
In addition, you must have:
> Excellent spoken and written English.
> Drive and Tenacity to succeed.
> Strong problem solving skills.
> Confident presentation skills.
> Desire to work hard but play hard too.
> Potential to progress into Senior Management.
> A passion for working in a client facing environment.
> A Full Driving Licence.
> Ideally Degree educated or equivalent.

You could have previously held any one of the following roles: Account Manager, Account Executive, Regional Account Manager, Internal Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Support, Customer Service Executive, Area Sales Manager, Junior Account Executive, Trainee Account Manager
