We buy any car has one of the most recognisable online brands in the UK and, with hundreds of branches, is a major retail organisation. They are looking for a talented Branch Manager who can lead their own business in their branch. The branch manager will be key to their operation, increasing business through offering great customer service.

Whilst their industry is cars, you do not need previous knowledge of makes, models or engines! The most important aspect of this role will be your ability to create a fantastic customer experience both on the phone and face to face, along with being highly organised, self-motivated and proficient at multi-tasking. Full training will be given for the role with a 4 day residential course and ongoing support and coaching.

The Branch Manager will deal directly with the general public both face to face and over the telephone, offering an excellent customer service experience, being the face of the business. Building a relationship with the Customer, valuing the used car, processing the purchase of the car and maximising further and future business opportunities for the company.  This will involve making outbound calls to prospective customers and generating further business for your branch. This role does not involve managing a team of people but you would be responsible for the branch and its success.

Main Duties of the Branch Manager:

– Building a strong rapport with customer through welcome and confirmation calls

– Managing the business Opportunity and Purchase systems, converting booked appointment into successful purchases

– Accurately appraising vehicles (remember we’ll train you how to do this) keeping in mind both the company and customer at all times

– Selling the business services effectively and thoroughly processing the car purchase

– Actively promoting the brand in an effective and professional manner as our local representative

– Developing further and future sales opportunities through prospecting and lead generation over the telephone

– Successful processing of admin and all company processes ensuring that all company standards and procedures are adhered to, managing a strict and effective compliance standard

– Ownership, responsibility and maintenance of the Branch, its standards, equipment and presentation

Person Specification:

– Full Valid UK Driving License (and aged 21 or over for insurance purposes)

– Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

– Good PC Skills

– Articulate and very confident at liaising with customers regularly by telephone and face to face

– Organised, structured, and portrays a professional image at all times

– Experience of working to and exceeding targets and able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment

– Previous Retail or Customer Service/Customer Facing and Sales Experience is required for this role.
