Pinewood Technologies is a software house based near the NEC in Birmingham and we are part of Pendragon PLC the largest independent operator of franchised car dealerships in the UK. We develop a number of vehicle management solutions, our flagship product being Pinnacle, a Dealer Management System that is used in just under 400 motor retailers in the UK, with additional users in America and South Africa.
As an Application Support Consultant you will offer a first line of support to our customers and partners for service requests, product usage assistance and software support. You will answer incoming calls and e-mails, ensure existing open cases are kept up to date, coach customers on our Pinnacle software and handle occasional technical queries.
While previous experience would be advantageous, it isn’t essential but you will need previous experience in a customer facing environment, either face to face or over the phone. You’ll also have great organisational and problem solving skills, be confident communicating with people and have the ambition and desire to develop. You will also need a minimum of 6 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including maths and English for your application to be considered.
You will be required to work flexibly on a 3 shift rota between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm and some weekend and bank holiday work is also required.
