The key function of this role is to generate sales through making outbound calls and up selling to an existing customer base. This role also incorporates the processing of customer orders and delivering an end to end service from initial order to quality control.

Whilst this position is focused around making outbound calls the duties are varied and will include:

– Successfully make the required outbound calls each day in order to build relationships with the customers
– Keep all customer records up to date with an accurate description of the individual buying procedures, contacts and expenditure and other relevant information
– Reactive calls to lost accounts and continually monitor customers spend who may be slipping
– Assist the Inbound team by answering all incoming calls within 3 rings, in a polite friendly manner
– Achieve a high level of accuracy on all orders
– Up sell and cross sell on every order to increase both size and order value
– Achieve and exceed Sales, Gross Profit, Lost Call and territory growth targets
– Ensure that all quotations are dealt with recording the correct information
– Record and update customer database with relevant information
– Ensure that all records are up to date, filed and easily accessible
– Ensure that all communication to customers both written and verbal maintains a high standard both in presentation and content
– Attend staff meetings, training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required
– Give support to team members assist other departments, as and when necessary

Working Hours of the position are Monday to Thursday 8.30 -17.00 and Friday 8.30 to 16.45.

OTE is based on the average first year performance, established representatives achieve in the region of £35k P/A
