Accounts Administrator

Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is a specialist accountancy recruiter for the North West market.

We are actively seeking an Accounts Administrator for a highly reputable and successful company based on the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business on a permanent basis.

Main duties are, however not limited to:

• • Processing of credit notes
  • Entering of employee expenses and raising of payments
  • Involved in monthly stock taking
  • Various nominal ledger analysis work
  • Processing of raw material purchase invoices and matching to GRN.
  • Daily entry of cashbook and updating ledgers
  • Control of daily sales ledger invoicing and matching of dispatch paperwork.
  • Maintaining sales and purchase ledger
  • Credit notes matching to purchase orders
  • Reconciling supplier
  • Completing journals and expenses
  • Allocating cash receipts and making and posting payments
  • Maintaining and manipulating data in spreadsheet applications
  • Matching batching and coding invoices in large quantities including foreign currencies

Desirable Attributes:

• Work effectively under pressure
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Flexible, analytical and have a methodical approach in problem solving

Candidates must have:

• AAT part/qualified and or study studying towards ACCA/CIMA
• Knowledge in use of Microsoft Office packages; must be competent in Excel (V Look ups, Pivot Tables)
• Must have experince of using Sage 200 and Pegasus CIS
• Construction industry background is preferred but not essential
