Accounts Assistant

A national charity requires 2 accounts assistants to join the business processing team in light of recent expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close knit team where you will learn and develop your existing accounts experience, picking up new responsibilities as you do.

Responsibilities include:
*Process purchase invoices and assist with payment runs
*Raise and integrate invoices and credit notes into the finance system
*Chase customers for payment of overdue invoices
*Resolve queries on purchase orders and contracts with key contacts
*Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
*Provide a summarised schedule of the aged creditors each month along with commentary
*Assist with maintenance and development of systems, policies and processes
*Resolve internal and external queries with excellent customer service

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months experience in both accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. You must be keen to learn and driving improvement of processes in the team.
