Lead Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, GraphQL, NodeJS, AWS) – Manchester, hybrid – Up to £85,000 This is an opportunity for a Lead Developer (TypeScript, Node) to be a pioneering in-house hire within a Fluid Power Services business with 30+ years industry experience. Role Overview: This is an exciting time for the business as they recently embarked on a digital transformation project, making several key hires on the senior leadership team. You will report directly to the newly appointed Director of Technology, supporting him with his ambitious growth plans. As the inaugural Full-Stack Lead Developer (TypeScript, Node), you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing a robust development team, working hand in hand with an agency partner to begin with. You will contribute to shaping the technology landscape, particularly on their Vendure platform which is built on TypeScript, GraphQL and Node. Your contributions will directly impact the commitment to delivering top-tier products and services, supporting customers’ growth, and expanding the product range. Your expertise will set the benchmark for the tech initiatives and the foundation for future team expansion. Key Requirements: Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, GraphQL and Node.jsFamiliarity with MongoDB and Python (preferred)Confidence in DevOps practicesA desire to step into a hands-on leadership role Flexibility and Location: This role offers flexibility with 1-2 days per week in Greater Manchester, providing a balanced work environment that caters to both collaboration and autonomy.
