Software Developer (C#,.NET, Javascript, SQL, SharePoint)
Location/ working pattern: Client are based in Lincolnshire but happy with hybrid/ remote working for the right person
Salary: Up to £50,000 based on experience
Due to continued success my client has asked me to help find them a Software Developer to join our IT Department.
The role is to enhance their current infrastructure and developing new solutions to improve business efficiency.
Key duties in the role include:
- Maintain and enhance existing systems.
- Improve an existing system currently coded in .NET.
- Integrate existing systems with new solutions using APIs.
- Develop and maintain new solutions with web front ends and robust database back ends.
- Own the maintenance and improvement of business documents using XML/XSLT.
- Manage SQL server maintenance and implement security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C# for web and desktop applications.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with REST API integration and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
- Proficient in database management, SQL (T-SQL), querying, and performance optimization.
- Previous experience with XML, XSLT, and document structure.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Reliable and flexible work style to meet production objectives.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and SPFx.
- Knowledge of Windows Server editions and application deployment and management.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
