Job Description
Are you an Electrical/Firmware Product Owner looking to work on some new ideas, making this role your own?
This is a newly created position, so you can put your stamp on the business as they move into building their own products. You can give your own ideas and ways to move forward, they are open to listening to you and taking your lead. You will act as an internal client, ensuring that you’re working with the internal teams to make the product viable.
The company are looking to get ahead and look at other avenues for their consultancy which in its own right is very successful. People love working there, you have flexible working, and 2 or 3 days in the office (when they say hybrid, they mean hybrid).
You’ll love taking the lead, working closely with a team of people and providing your own insights, and happy to take some direction – you don’t know everything. You’ll have an allocation of resources and run it through the consultancy process they utilise internally, ensuring that there’s a balance between the level of investment they are doing in the product and delivering the proposition.
In terms of what they are looking for, they want the person to understand what a product person does. Understand how to do it and have worked in smaller organisations where you’ve been responsible for the product yourself from concept design through to production.
You’ll understand what agile value propositions are as it fits their environment and the way they work.
You will come from an IoT background, as this will allow you to have a much quicker impact in this role, with an electronics/firmware background.
