Lead Quality Engineer
Job Description
A brilliant new opportunity has opened up with a well-known Bank for a Lead Quality Engineer to join the team!
This role will be working on defining strategy, tooling, best practices and creating learning pathways for more Junior Engineers. You will be responsible for how the testing happens and feeding that down to each team in the most efficient way possible.
Ideally you will have a background as a hands on tester (automation focused) and love the idea of getting involved with big initiatives in driving the scope and vision for testing across the Bank
Financial Services (high volume processing) / Payments background is a big plus here but not essential.
This is a permanent position with a salary on offer of up to £110k + comprehensive benefits package. They would like you to come to their London, Bristol or Edinburgh office on a hybrid basis (twice a week), this can be flexible and negotiable.
Tech skills needed:
- Experience in defining testing strategies (with a TDD focus)
- Hands on Java (8+, ideally 11)
- Experience in ensuring Integration and NFT is executed
- Selenium/Cucumber/Postman/Jira Xray
- AWS
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in working collaboratively with multiple teams
