An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join the Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (RAVIC), in Inverness.
The purpose of this post is to act as Operations Manager for the Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (RAVIC), to support SRUC research, teaching, and commercialisation activities, SAC commercial work, and external RAVIC members including tenant companies by providing a high quality management and administrative service.
Key Responsibilities;
Rural and Veterinary Innovation Centre (RAVIC)
- To manage records of activities and outputs that are relevant to RAVIC including European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and other projects, for example with Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) etc
- To arrange and support meetings related to RAVIC activities and outputs including ERDF and other projects, monitoring/supporting completion of action points where applicable
- To support academic, commercial, research and teaching teams to manage workloads as regards distribution of work in context of project-specific monitoring and output reporting
- To provide information, and produce and/or assist with production of reports as required (e.g. ERDF, HIE, other funding annual reporting requirements, University Innovation Fund (UIF) output reporting etc) – with support as required from line manager and Director of the RAVIC
- Links / coordination with wider SRUC teams e.g. School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), Innovation Hub and Central Faculty to assist with the review, development and implementation of relevant procedures and processes impacting wider SRUC teams
- To manage and support RAVIC building user and operational needs, including customer-focused services for RAVIC’s training, commercial, consultancy and research activity
