Lecturer – Countryside management

Coba Education are looking to recruit a Countryside Management lecturer for a fantastic Further Education college located in the heart of Northamptonshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable person to join a skilled, well-established team that focus highly on student experience, within one of the largest specialist land based colleges in the UK.

This is a full time position open for immediate availability , initially as a temporary post with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Duties of the role include;

• Teaching and training of students and other client groups across a land based provision.
• Tutoring and management of one or more courses or groups of students, along with the development of land based courses.
• To participate in internal verification, auditing and other quality monitoring processes to ensure learners, customers and clients receive exemplary service.

Ideally the candidate;

• Will have experience of working in an agricultural discipline.
• Will be educated to HNC level or have equivalent vocational experience in a countryside management discipline.
• May hold a range of additional qualifications such as NPTC in tractor proficiency, PA certificates or safe telehandler operation certificates (desirable)
• Is prepared to work towards additional qualifications, including the Diploma in Teaching & Learning (Certificate in Education.)
• Holds a minimum of grade C or equivalent in GCSE English & Maths.
