By Your Side is a Domiciliary Care Agency, working with people in our community. We specialise in Dementia Care and older people. We do however have many individuals with other conditions such as MS and MND. The role exist as we are continually growing the business and have more customers waiting to use our services.

What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Hours of Work: Up To Full Time Hours Per Week – 07:00 – 14:00 / 16:00 – 22:00 / 07:00 – 22:00
- Help with getting up and getting ready for the day or settling in for the night, washing, bathing, toileting. medication and companionship
- Domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, shopping, preparing and cooking meals and taking people out to the shops, doctors or social events.
- Supporting people with more complex needs such as, end of life care, supporting people with acquired brain injury, or those living with long-term conditions such as dementia.
- Regardless of the physical assistance provided, it is often the emotional support and connection that people receiving the support have with their care and support workers, which makes the difference to them.
