What does this Support Worker job involve?
Hours of Work: Up to Full Time Hours – Shifts: Between 06:00 – 22:00 (Flexible Provider) + Some Weekend Work
- Providing personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administering oral and topical medication under the supervision of medical personnel
- Handling household tasks like grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning, and housekeeping chores
- Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time
- Providing mental and emotional support
These above are just some daily duties but are subject to change dependant on each customer’s needs.
Am I the right person for this Support Worker job?
We are seeking applicants that are:
- Compassionate, understanding, patient and tolerant
- Effective in maintaining working relationships
- Effective in communicating both verbally and in writing
- Calm and able to work under pressure
