As an Asset Manager your primary responsibility is to support the Estates General Manager as the Gatekeeper of the estate, informing the condition and business intelligence to inform strategic business decisions.

You will ensure completion of the Estate conditioning survey programme to identify and justify lifecycle project works, while also liaising with the Project Delivery Teams to ensure that the Acceptance into Use for the Estate is undertaken and that all data relating to the new and changed assets is captured.

You will also work together with the Maintenance Teams regarding the status of assets’ post maintenance activities including any asset changes, and will manage the Risk Escalation process and specifically ensure all reactive Lifecycle claims are justified with supporting evidence.

To excel in this role, you must have a sound understanding of surveying of large, complex estates, as well as data management and experience of managing commercial or government asset portfolios.

You should also have proven line management experience because you’ll be in charge of managing a varied team of Surveyors, both B&CE and M&E as well as the Data Team who collate, update and maintain an accurate asset database in line with ADSL’s procedures and processes including the management of maps, drawings and asset plans.

Ready to join the team?

You must have NQF Level 6 and industry recognised qualification in engineering, building services or facilities management. You must also have a recognised Technical Body membership.

Salary: up to £57,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience
Location: Aldershot
