SUPPLY CHAIN ACIVICTIES:
- Establish & monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurements
- Implement & follow up on supply chain indicators (KPI) ensuring a focus on our operations
- Analyse all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
- Analyse logistical problems & develop suitable solutions.
Implement supply chain roadmap related to procurement & supply chain strategy - Assist buyers on logistics terms for new agreements with suppliers & support negotiations
- Assist Buyers to capture & evaluate inbound manufacturer costs into Distributor depots.
- Monitor & mitigate risks associated with logistics
- Monitor the fulfilment of logistics terms of the contracts with distributors
- Follow up on the productivity plan
- Deploy best practice.
- Perform periodic audits with distributors / logistic vendor
- Track & analyse root causes of structural malfunctions
- Action plan
- Implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes
- Opportunity to train and gain an apprenticeship as Supply Chain Practitioner
What can you bring?
Minimum Experience:
- Min 3 years in Procurement ,including expertise in Supply Chain Management/Logistics & Distribution Management
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Hard skills
- Strong analytical skills: analysing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems.
- Expert in data manipulation
- Deep knowledge of logistics cost breakdown, Logistics and distribution process working.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS
Soft Skills
- Solution oriented and result driven
- Initiative – Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
- Ability to collaborate with and influence peers to ensure optimal distribution solutions implemented & communicated
- Ability to carry out deep dive analysis with a high level of detail
