Are you an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in your finance career in a highly commercial and business facing role?

We have an amazing opportunity for an operationally minded finance professional to join our team as a Finance Manager reporting into the Finance Business Partner you will provide support to our healthcare sector, working closely with Contract Directors and operations, in understanding and managing the operational financial performance of our contracts.

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for a team of Contract Finance Managers and their wider team of administrators leading monthly business review meetings, month end closure and the reporting process to deadline while ensuring accounting in line with relevant standards and company policies.

Our Finance Manager will provide commercial acumen to drive efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction in addition to

• Business partnering – driving contractual performance and the understanding of key stakeholder (finance and non-finance)
• Leading period end accounting processes, ensuring timeliness and validity of accounting treatment and entries
• Manage and develop junior finance team members
• Review and drive working capital and balance sheet performance
• Preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, challenging operation performance, understanding and reporting key variances
• Attend and present financial results and insight at client and internal meetings

The successful Finance Manager will have

• Relevant operational experience
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA  or QBE
• Proven stakeholder management experience
• Computer literate especially working with Excel
• Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
• Demonstrable commercial judgement
• Leadership and influencing
• Strong analytical and systems skills
