Service Manager – Staying Well
Eastbourne with regular travel to Hastings and Brighton
30 – 37 hours per week
£33,797 – £36,409 per year, pro rata
Plus £1000 Car User Allowance per year, pro rata
We are looking for an enthusiastic and thoughtful manager to join our team delivering innovative services for people experiencing mental health difficulties and crisis. We provide out of hours safe and supportive spaces that are an alternative to A&E in Hastings, Eastbourne, and Brighton. Working with committed teams you will ensure these services meet the needs of clients, support the wider mental health systems, and deliver a high-quality offer for all people across the county.
Staying Well services are open out of hours seven days a week. As an exciting collaboration between the VCSE sector and NHS services, Staying Well teams include VCSE Recovery Advisors and Peer Support Workers and an embedded clinician who is managed by Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust.
This role will support the three teams in Eastbourne, Hastings, and Brighton to deliver a consistent offer with a commitment to continuous improvement and psychological safety.
The Service Manager will provide line management to a team of Team Managers who have day to day responsibility for the running of the individual centres and services. You will lead on the clinical interface between Southdown and Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust, ensuring the smooth running of the partnership and a commitment to the principles of NHS Community Mental Health Transformation.
The Staying Well services are open seven days a week between 3pm – 11pm with times varying across sites. We are looking for an individual who would enjoy working a mix of 9am – 5pm and 12noon – 8pm Monday – Friday with occasional weekend shifts.
