Who will you be supporting?
I am a young man who you will be supporting in my own home. I am caring, loving, interesting and have a wicked sense of humour. I enjoy lots of different things including spending time with my pets including my snake, tarantula and other reptiles and insects. PS4, watching horror films and my big passions collecting fossils, animal skulls, precious and semi-precious stones, and Lego, going for long walks on beaches and woods.
I have autism and can get anxious at times which leads me to be angry & frustrated with the people around me. I have had some terrible experiences in the past with the people supporting me. This has let me down, so it may take a long time for me to be sure about you. But when I do, we will have so much fun.
I need people to help me who are kind, caring, have a sense of humour. You will need to be consistent and compassionate. When I am anxious you will need to be calm, and after a tough day, step into the next holding no grudges. Willing to work along-side and with me, giving me options and choices, and not telling me what to do!
It is essential that you can drive, and you must be willing to work as a team. You will work with me and my family and importantly you must like the things I like, especially animals.
