Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager / Manchester / Permanent / £50,000 – £54,000 / Hybrid / Flexibility / Development

An FTSE 100 international business with offices worldwide is looking to recruit a skilled Accounts Payable Manager. This permanent position will be based in their new luxury offices in Manchester. As well as leading the function, you will be driving efficiency and improvements in line with the company values.  The business has had record profits three years in a row and has set a plan to double turnover by 2030. The key duties will include:

• Responsible for the operational activities of the Accounts Payable function
• Ensure supplier payments are made on a timely and accurate basis, in line with agreed timeframes.
• Drive optimal performance of the function via data driven KPIs and metrics, and problem resolution via root cause analysis.
• Manage the Accounts Payable elements of the month-end process such as direct debit payment and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to achieve the goals you set for the AP function.

The ideal candidate will have similar experience within a fast-paced high-volume environment, knowledge of P2P processes, strong people management skills, experience of financial controls and is confident with IT systems.
