About the Job
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the workshop, leading and managing a team of Technicians to maximise workflow and productivity and ensure repairs are completed timely and accurately, delivering the highest standards of quality for our customers.
You will also support in carrying out necessary repairs, to cover absence within the team, such as during holiday periods.
You will oversee health and safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are adhered to within the workshop and carry out quality control ensuring repairs are carried out to the BSI PAS 10125 standards.
About you
You will have an extensive understanding of the repair industry, vehicle legislation and trade practices as an MET, Panel or Paint Technician, from an accident repair background and you will ideally have supervisory experience.
You will have knowledge of all aspects of Health and Safety, including an understanding of the provisions of EPA and Risk Assessments, experience of working in a fast-paced workshop working in a job time structure with a focus on producing compliant, high-quality work and proven ability to plan and priories work and work of others.
Additionally, you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
