About the Role

We are growing to meet the ever-increasing needs of our expanding business, due to this we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our Pump Rental branch based in Hixon, Stafford.

This is a hands-on manual role, working alongside our team in the workshop, with the full-time responsibility for welding and fabricating.

You’ll be welding and fabricating steel, to include – mig welding, steel fabricating, grinding, cutting, bending, and shaping metal.  Due to the nature of this role, you will need to maintain high standards of Health and Safety and ensure the compliance of others within your area of working.

What we are looking for:

• Previous demonstrable experience of welding in a hands-on environment.
• Strong knowledge of, and practical experience with, mig welding.
• Able to accurately follow guidance and technical drawings to replicate existing products.
• Demonstrate an ability to achieve 100% correct products, first time, every time.
• Able to work independently – to accurately weld / fabricate parts under own initiative.
• Experience in mechanical engineering or water pump equipment would be advantageous, but not essential.

There are no call-out requirements for this role, however overtime may be available depending on the needs of the business.
