Team Leader:

If you wish to build a career in an automated distribution environment, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Team Leader you will maximise the performance of your team and be able to lead and motivate your co-workers in order to deliver a world class service.

You will be responsible for the operation of a team of co-workers during the shift in the warehouse. The functions are broadly split into: Inbound receiving to storage; Storage and replenishment; Picking; Packing and Outbound Despatch. The numbers of team leaders and operators will vary depending on the area within the DC that you may be situated.

If you have at least 1 years experience as a senior warehouse operative/team leader of an automated/ fast paced/FMCG/ production warehouse or similar logistics post and you are looking for a new challenge – you might be the one we are looking for.

Location: Castle Donington
Salary: £27,600 – £33,600DOE
Shift Pattern: 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm, any 5 days out of 7.

Principal Accountabilities:

– You will need proven experience of leading an operational team within a warehouse environment and leading and driving a safety first culture
– Ability to analyse data and make recommendations and action them
– Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem solving skills
– Customer focused and able to deliver and exceed customer expectations
– Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external teams
– Enthusiastic, committed and driven
– Ability to respond positively to changing demands in a fast paced warehouse environment
– Experience of leading large teams
– Experience of Warehouse Management Systems

Technical skills/Business skills required:

You will have proven logistics operational experience at a first line level in a fast moving warehouse environment. Ideally you will have exposure to at least one or more of the following: -automation, new start up, Boxed or hanging garments, E-commerce or Retail distribution FMCG, high-volume production, etc.

This role will suit a Production Leader, Section Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Shift Manager looking to grow and develop their knowledge with a market leading company.
