Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

c£25k to £30k plus pension, 22 days holiday + bank holidays, Free on-site parking and extended benefits with service. (Working hours 9-5 Mon to Thur and 9-4:30 Fri.)

Ash Consulting are working with well established building services company who seek to appoint an experienced accountant to their growing head office team at their Sheffield operation. The varied role will suit an experienced qualified/ part qualified AAT accountant with several years hands on related experience across a diverse range of duties as detailed below.

Key Responsibilities

• Inputting and processing a high volume of invoices

• Reconciling supplier statements/remittances/payments

• Maintaining cashbooks in sterling and some foreign currencies

• Petty cash control – sterling and foreign currencies

• Raising Bi monthly BACS payments

• Monthly management accounts preparation

• Credit control and payroll support to external provider

• Fixed asset register maintenance and intercompany reconciliations.

Skills, Qualifications;

• Recently qualified or working towards a recognised qualification or good QBE as qualified by levels of ability.

• Strong Excel and ideally familiar with use of pivot tables

• Sage experienced

• Stable work record

• Analytical approach to providing ongoing information to senior team

• Team player with good communication skills
