HANDS ON WAREHOUSE SERVICE MANAGER REQUIRED TO JOIN AN INDUSTRY LEADING ORGANISATION

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Service Manager – Waste Management and Recycling

SALARY: Up to £32,400 dependant on experience, Pension, Mobile

CLIENT: My client is a market leading organisation in the waste and recycling sector. They are industry leading manufacturers of industrial waste management and recycling shredders, trommels, screeners and other waste management and recycling machinery.

LOCATION: Ripon

MAIN DUTIES

As Service Manager you will book service visits for engineers, arranging machine deliveries, dispatching consumables, data entry of actions on to CRM system, maintain the training records, complete customer assessment forms, maintain supplier records and maintain COSHH records. Planning reaction maintenance. You will be speaking to customers on a daily basis and managing accounts.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

A warehouse background or background as a Service Manager

A good understanding of stock management

You will be mechanically minded, or have an interest in mechanics, waste management or recycling.

You will have reasonable IT skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office. Good communication and organisation skills.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Service Manager

Forklift Qualification (operational experience or in house certification considered)

You may have worked in the following sectors: warehouse, freight, shipping, transport, distribution, courier, waste management, dispatch recycling collections, parcels, haulage, building products, delivery, and driver management

You will demonstrate excellent man management skills.

Any Health and Safety Qualifications – IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General ideal

Experience of shredders, trommels, screeners and other waste management and recycling machinery would be ideal.
