Hours: Day Shift
Permanent opportunity for expanding international engineering company
Education: Apprenticed trained in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: of working with Quality Systems and a sound knowledge of ISO9000 & Inspection sampling plans
CMM operating and programming experience desirable
The Operator Inspector will contribute to development of the quality department and will assess the Company’s ability to supply adequate training, work instructions and tools to employees as well as our employee’s ability to measure and accept their own work.
The Operator Inspector will carry out random inspection checks on Assembly and Test and Machine Shop employees who are responsible for inspecting and accepting their own work, recording non-conformances and any corrective actions to the quality system in order for solutions to be found to non-conformances and ultimately to develop employees, skills and workflows.
The Operator Inspector will be a good communicator at all levels, with an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving and a expertise in Machining, working with complex products and to close tolerances (microns), able to interpret engineering drawings and processes and procedures.
