Software Test Engineer (Medical Devices)

Superb, brand new opportunity for an excellent Software Test Engineer to join this rapidly developing and growing Radiotherapy equipment developer.

The Candidate:

You will have the following skills/abilities:

• Several years’ software testing experience
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experienced in using test management tools such as Quality Centre, SpiraTest, practitest
• Experience using defect management tool such as Mantis, Jira etc
• At least 2 years of embedded domain experience is mandatory
• Knowledge of FDA and ISO standards are highly advantageous
• Candidate should be an expert in designing test case and logging defects
• Experienced in open source automation tool would be an advantage
• Experienced in maintaining requirement traceability metrics
• Experienced in generating defect and test execution reports
• Experienced in exploratory testing and eye for identifying defects
• ISTQB Certification would be advantages
• Experience with hardware integration testing would be highly advantageous
• Experience of regulatory standards (eg FDA, ISO, BSI) would be advantageous

The Role:

Due to continued growth they are now seeking a self-motivated Test Engineer to join their expanding test team. This role will be both rewarding and challenging and you must therefore be able to cope with the dynamic demands of various projects and priorities. You might have to travel to customer sites for testing when required.
