SQL Database Developer (Must Have Strong Data Migration Background)

SQL Database Developer is required by our client based in London, Vauxhall on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to support a lead developer in developing and implementing a Single Supporter View and also assist with the integration systems with a focus on data migration, ETL and data integration

Candidates applying for this position MUST have a demonstrable background in the development, management and maintenance of our clients existing database systems and applications, and develop new solutions to streamline existing data integration processes to ensure the efficient and effective use of data across the organisation.

As the SQL Database Developer you will be involved in the development of complex data transformation and migration solutions as part of data migration projects involving multiple input data sources as well as the development and support of automated ETL packages between web platforms, backend databases and business systems.

Candidates applying should therefore have extensive experience with the following technologies; Microsoft SQL Server 2008 – 2012 (including T-SQL and SQL query tools), Data Warehousing principles, SSIS, SSRS, Business Objects 5, MySQL and Team Foundation Server.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to hit the ground running, with very little guidance and who is immediately available OR has a maximum 1 month notice period.
