Quality Technician

Quality Control Technician Needed.

I am looking for a talented Quality Control Technician to join my prestigious client based in Morley, Leeds. This is an exciting oppurtunity to join a growing organisation who look to develop their staff and provide a fantastic working environment to grow and develop.

An overview of the role is below;

Maintain day to day product quality of Production from manufacture to despatch, consistent with the Company’s goals and needs.
Drive efficiency and improvement through working with other departments, suppliers and internal personnel, whilst being consistent with the company values.
Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and assist in the implementation of long-term solutions.
Be flexible in your approach to duties in accordance with the requirements of the business.

On a day to day basis you will;

Monitor and control Quality standards to meet requirements in accordance with the Company Management Systems.
Carry out tests to the agreed internal and external specifications aligned with technical drawings.
Utilise supplied measuring equipment to perform tests to agreed methods.
Manage and control the periodic calibration of all required equipment in accordance with the Company Management Systems.
Review test data and analyse and interpret test results and ensure reports are detailed and accurate.
Routinely perform audits to agreed schedule.
Execute work instructions in a timely manner to meet required targets.
Manage the control of quarantined stock.
Routinely manage your workload using the Quality Management System and ensure actions are completed within the required timescales.
Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised.
Demonstrate ability to make decisions based on data.
Use the necessary or required internal and/or external software to facilitate this role including SAP, Q-Pulse, SQC, MCOSMOS, Microsoft. This list is non-exhaustive.
Maintain a high standard of record keeping in accordance with the Company Management Systems.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times.

Working on a shift basis which is to be confirmed. The Salary: for the role is £26,000per year.
