Our client is one of the leading providers of Repair and Maintenance Services within the Social Housing sector.

Finance / Commercial Manager

The post holder will be responsible for providing a commercial, quantity surveying and accounts service. They will be required to assist the RCM & Branch/Partnering Managers in all aspects of financial control and reporting. On the FM Contract.

Principal Accountabilities

To monitor and report on the finances of the projects. To work and liaise with the Regional Finance Managers and Branch to ensure that the administration of the branch is operating in such a way as to provide maximum support to the other functions within the branch.

To mentor Branch and staff at all levels in pursuit of financial and commercial accountability. Ensure all work tickets are moved through the system in a timely and accurate manner.

To assist the Branch to achieve the branch and client KPI?s.

To maintain a customer focus ethos in managing both commercial and financial services.

Financial Responsibility

Responsible for the timely and accurate posting report being sent to client and time lines in the Financial approval process are followed.

Overhead and cost control of the branch including salaries, vehicles, equipment and tools, stock and petty cash

Provide profitability report is produced and passed to operation team for action

Management of Commercial staff operatives so as to maximise contract performance against KPI?s

Management of sub-contractor accounts, ensure payments are up-to-date and cost correctly

Production and analysis of tenders, ensure quote register is updated and the production of cash flow forecasts

Ensure the Finance Approval Process is followed and correctly calculated, ensure accountability is taken by the operation head for collecting credits and analysis error rate percentage to reduce percentage calculation.
