Technical Support Specialist / Desktop Support Specialist / 2nd Line / Technical IT Support – Citrix / Active Directory
Marcus Donald People are currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join a global mass media and entertainment company based in their Munich office. This is a permanant opportunity paying up to 50,000 euros per annum.
Must have:
Fluent in German
Very Advantageous:
English speaking
The Technical Support Specialist will be reporting to the IT Services Manager and form a two person team based in Munich.
This role forms a critical component in the IT departments` ability to deliver a high quality service. The role is highly visible, customer facing, and is representing IT while providing day to day desktop support to the organisations team members.
Key Responsibilities for the Technical Support Specialist include but are not limited to:
– Provide premier support service to clients including but not limited to software installation, hardware replacement, loaner equipment, mobile device support, and training/guidance on use of the company’s approved applications/tools
– Manage PC/Mac refresh projects for new equipment
– Assist in software rollouts and project / technology delivery
Key Skills for the Technical Support Specialist:
– Active Directory administration experience (Windows users, groups, shares and network printers
– MS Office suite
– Citrix support
– Basic Networking experience – WAN / LAN
– Experience supporting Blackberry, iPhone, and Android Handheld Devices
– Windows operating system
– Mac desktops, laptops, and iPads
– Working knowledge of ITIL required.
– Ability to use a call management system (ServiceNow).
