Extrusion Machine Setter / Process Controller

Salary: £42,920 per year

Eco Personnel is currently recruiting for a Extrusion machine setter / Process Controller for our client based in South Normanton.

Working a continental 12 hour shift pattern (4 on 4 off), successful applicants will be responsible for:

• Setting and maintaining the process to standards making process adjustments to minimise material usage within agreed limits
• Ensuring pre-start-up check sheets are completed and signed off
• Start up extrusion lines gaining specification as directed
• Measure product during start up process
• Record line running conditions in a timely manner
• Minimise material usage and wastage
• Complete all required administration tasks involved with the process
• Carry out fault finding and running repairs in order to maintain production efficiency and keeping shift production supervision informed
• Ensure that the required specifications and quality of the pipe are correct

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge and experience of an extrusion environment including shift working
• Takes ownership and responsibility comfortably with due understanding of the limits of authority
• IT literate

Continental Shift Pattern 4on 4off – 2days 12 hours / 2 nights 12 hours follow by 4 days off

Salary £42,920.4.00 per year plus Overtime
