Site Manager

We are seeking a degree educated No.1 Site Manager on behalf of a specialist Main Contractor who operates almost exclusively within the Leisure & High End Residential Sectors.

As Site Manager, you will effectively be managing all aspects of the construction process for which they will be accountable, as determined, ensuring that agreed specifications and timescales are met, whilst overseeing the ground and labour work and efficient use is made of all resources under the control of Site Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Supervise and co-ordinate staff, Sub-Contractors and material suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of tasks, milestones and the project.
* Scheduling and programming of work to be carried out to ensure project targets are achieved and quality is maintained
* Ensure the maintenance of the Health, Safety and welfare for the site and facilities which will include the carrying out of inspections.
* To manage works packages which includes but is not limited to daily site operative liaison, agreeing RAMS and Work package plans, organising multi trade activities, snagging and checking payments against contract works.
* Report directly to the Project Managers on a daily basis and provide a weekly status report.

Training & Qualifications

* Educated to a Degree Level
* SMSTS
* CSCS Management Level Card
* First Aid at Work is Essential

Work Experience

* At least 10 years in a lead or construction management role
* Recent luxury Residential or Hotel experience is essential
* A stable work history although not essential is heavily preferred
