Security Systems Engineer

Leading suppliers of bespoke manned guarding and monitoring and security systems installations. They are part of a national group and the ensuing financial stability allows them to constantly invest in new systems and technology. This supports their partnership approach to business: growing by strengthening their clients’ businesses. The growing list of services includes manned guarding, alarm and CCTV monitoring and installation, vehicle + asset tracking, portfolio management, lone worker protection, risk consultancy and investigative services.

Overtime means OTE circa £35K

The Vacancy:
Following a strategy of investment in their installations division they are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to provide a high level of installation & service tasks for Intruder, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Systems, as well as maintain and grow a relationship with internal and external Customers/Clients as well as all members of the team. Your responsibilities will include:

• To provide excellent customer service at all times
• To work to an excellent standard at all times
• To be aware that health and safety is everyone’s responsibility
• Installation, maintenance and call outs
• Parts and stock management for employee’s vehicles
• Ensuring paperwork is completed and returned on a daily basis wherever feasible to the office
• Maintaining and managing parts and stock in your vehicle

Requirements:
We are recruiting for an experienced Security Engineer who:
• Must have strong experience in all aspects of security: Intruder, access, CCTV &
• Fire Alarm Systems would be an advantage as would knowledge of Galaxy + IP CCTV systems
• Time served as an apprentice preferred but not essential
• A pleasant personality with the ability to be firm but fair is highly desirable
• To have excellent communication skills
• To work well under pressure
• To be flexible in your working day
• To be able to work in a team or on your own initiative
• Full UK driving licence

Remuneration:
For successful candidates a competitive basic salary circa £32,400is on offer and will be reviewed on a case by case basis dependant on your experience. In addition to this you will receive:
