Are you an experienced MFL Teacher with recent experience of teaching at Secondary level Are you looking for a new challenge ideally Italian

The role is being offered on a full time basis and is to start asap on a fixed term contract. Please note this is subject to completion of a successful registration interview with Alderwood, references and DBS check.

This exciting position, within a successful school, will allow you to draw upon your experience of the education system to provide pupils with support and guidance, enabling them to realise their potential.

Your responsibilities to schools:
– To teach classes
– Contribute to the provision of a safe and secure learning environment
– Follow school plans where provided and supply appropriate materials
– Work alongside the support staff relevant to the class
– Mark work following the school’s marking policy
– Implement and maintain the discipline and behaviour policy of the school
– Carry out the duties of the regular teacher
– Uphold the ethos of the school during your booking

Your responsibilities to Alderwood:
– Keep in touch with your Consultant regularly to update your availability and any changes to personal details
– Return timesheets weekly, signed by the school confirming work so your pay can be processed
– Keep up to date on educational changes, developments and initiatives that affect your specialist subject area through CPD.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
– A recognised teaching qualification accompanied by QTS

– Strong classroom and behaviour management techniques
– Ability to influence others positively
– Ability to react quickly and effectively in challenging situations
– Ability to relate and build relationships easily

Pay & Benefits
You will work via Alderwood on a Contract for Services and be paid a daily rate ranging from £120 – £144 per day (dependent on skills and experience).
Due to the nature of the contract, no notice period applies leaving you able to continue to search and apply for permanent posts.
