Trainee Machine Operator

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are delighted to be recruiting for Trainee Machine Operators on behalf of our client, a prominent food manufacturer in the Tewkesbury area.

This position will include some weekend work.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Setting up, cleaning down, and operating equipment while maintaining efficiency standards

• Maintaining and monitoring quality through Company standards, maintaining excellent levels of health, safety, and hygiene

• Packing of finished products on the end of the line ready to send through to the warehouse

• Performing any other reasonable task as requested by more senior staff

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience of working in the food production industry

• An ability to work efficiently and accurately

• Food Safety Level 2, or the ability to pass this module with learning support

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, with a desire to learn and to develop

• An ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Your own transport, or live locally to not rely on public transport
