Data Architect

Salary: £120,000 per year

Data Architect – London – Up to £100k + car allowance + bonus + benefits

We are currently looking for a Data Architect to join a join a world-renowned organisation at the forefront of National Security.

This person will help deliver innovative and exciting Data projects across a range of sectors. They are actively delivering innovation IN Big Data, Data Warehousing, Data Migration and Data to personalise digital experiences.

As a Data Architect this person will work to define and resolve complex data collection, data integration, data modelling, data storage and data access challenged to place key insights in the hands of decision makers

Please note: Due to the nature of the projects you will be working on you must already hold, or be eligible to obtain SC level security clearance

Essential Background/Skills:
– Experience working as a Data Architect
– Experience of the analysis and design of Data Warehouse, Big Data, BI, Data Analytics or complex Data Migration solutions, including: analysing source systems, designing ETL routines, resolving DQ issues, designing relational and dimensional models (conceptual and logical), developing reporting and analytical layers.
– Experience with Data stores such as Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, SQL Server, Hadoop, Appliance based systems
– Experience with ETL, Data Management and Quality tools (such as Informatica and Ab Initio)
– Experience with reporting tools, such as Business Objects, SSRS or data discovery tools such as Qlikview and Tableau
– Experience with analytics tools such as SAS, R and Spotfire
