Net Developer

.NET Developer required by a tech start-up in Liverpool with ambitious plans to grow rapidly in the next 12-18 months. They have developed a platform which is helping organisations better understand their customers and allows them to target their marketing in a much more targeted way.

The Company:

An ambitious start-up headquartered in Liverpool who have managed to secure significant funding to further develop their product which is being used by some of the biggest companies in the world.

Led by two extremely determined Founders who have big plans for where the company is going and they have no interest in standing still.

You will work with a small but highly talented team of Developers and have a say in how the product develops and evolves from day one. There is no hierarchy or office politics at this company whatsoever, you will sit next to the Founders, the Tech Director and the rest of the development team.

You:

will be a focused and driven individual who is looking to make their mark in one of the most unique software organisations in the whole country. This is not a role for someone looking to bump their salary and work on the same stuff day in, day out.

Due to their current product and where they want to take it, a real passion for mobile / Xamarin would definitely be a bonus.

This role is a real chance to make your mark and have a big say in how this product moves forward as the company continues to expand and win new projects.

Tech Stack:

Essentially they are a Microsoft House, with everything they have developed up until now being written in C#. The current web applications have been developed using ASP.NET MVC. However, with that being said, they are also constantly looking to evolve and are using some really innovative tech, for example: EmberJS, AngularJS, MongoDB, Xamarin and Octopus Deploy.

Moving their product into mobile is a big focus for them and as Xamarin is written in C#, they felt it made sense for them to use it as their cross platform tool. If you have any experience of, interest in or simply have played around with it in your spare time this could be an ideal role for you.

They work in 3-4 week sprints with upgrades / tweaks to their product happening all the time so any experience in an Agile / similar environment would be a big plus.
