Xyz Protack / Heidenhain Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator

We are currently looking for a skilled cnc Miller with Heidenhain controls and also XYZ Protrack controls, the ideal person will be apprentice trained and have previous experience working as a programmer/setter / operator milling with XYZ and Heidenhain controls.
You will be required to work on very large components that are craned on and off the machine. You will be required to be able to do reverse engineering on products doing refurb and new machined parts. Working from drawings using metric and imperial measuring equipment, you will be required to machine a variety of materials ranging from plastic to stainless steel.
The company operates a 24 hour service throughout the year this position requires someone to cover 6pm to 5am Monday to Thursday shift, there is a rota call out for weekend work which is paid at double time with a guaranteed call out of 3 hours. The rate of pay is between £46,800 – £49,920 per Annam dependent upon experience to commence as soon as possible, plus paid overtime and company pension.
