Risk and Business Assurance Officer

We are at an exciting point in our journey after recent market changes and as such we are looking to add to our specialist team. As a department we look at the key processes that ensure that our organisation runs smoothly, acknowledging and assessing business risk along the way.

In accordance with this forward progression we have a fantastic opportunity for a Risk and Business Assurance Officer to join our Governance and Compliance team.

As a large and diverse business, Genesis must ensure all risks to its business activities are identified and managed. This particular role in the team is weighted towards risk management, working with senior managers and teams across the business to ensure effective risk management is at the centre of everything we do.

We work in a dynamic environment, alongside a number of departments to ensure Genesis remains a leading property based service provider. This role offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to make a real difference and lead on our risk management and business assurance methods.

We are seeking an effective communicator who is able to persuade senior colleagues to adopt different approaches and be able to do things differently. You will possess experience, knowledge and an understanding of risk management within a complex organisation. You will be able to demonstrate experience of analysing, interpreting and presenting data with clarity both in written reports and face to face presentations.

Ultimately we are seeking someone with a ‘curious’ mind and someone who is not afraid to challenge. You will be tasked with training others and communicating risk analysis across various channels.
