ROLE

Our clients are looking for a commercially astute, highly motivated and eager to progress candidate to account manager some of their high profile retail accounts.

You will have a keen interest in food / food technology and be confident dealing with clients at all levels.

Planning:
Work in conjunction with suppliers / manufacturers to supply customer requirements. This also entails working with customer supply chain to fulfil order satisfaction. This will cover standard, seasonal and promotional requirements. Managing stock levels by line and by customer to fulfil 100% availability.

Forecasting:

Analysis and monitoring by customer and by sku sales and working with the relevant production site to arrange continuity of supply and execution of production plans and new product launches.

Customer Interface:

Working relationship with the retail customers with the relevant contacts typically, buyer / assistant, product manager, supply chain, technical, NPD overseeing projects and communicating between customers and intercompany department. Understanding and usage of customer interactive websites. Visits to retail head office, production sites and stores as necessary.

Supplier Interface

Liaising with packaging and ingredient suppliers on supply/ordering/cost prices across all products in conjunction with the NPD team.

Intercompany Interaction

In the course of assisting in the management of the retail accounts working with colleagues Technical/NPD/Production required in launching new products packaging and packaging amendments and the over-seeing of critical paths and delivering projects on time.
