Position – Management Accountant
Location – Dartford, Kent

Salary – £54,000 – £66,000plus a comprehensive benefits package

My client is an up and coming Insurance Broker with a turnover in excess of £25m and have ambitious plans to double in size over the next 2 years. The successful Management Accountant will be joining an organisation that works with quality insurance providers to the Lloyd’s, London and European Markets ensuring they provide only the best placement solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Management Accountant who is looking for a route to Financial Controller within a 2 year period. The Management Accountant will play an integral role in joining a relatively small but rapidly expanding finance department based in Dartford.

The Management Accountant will have experience of working in the insurance / broking sector, although this is not essential. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will have an in depth knowledge and experience of how a SME business is run i.e. Management Information, Key Performers, Cash Flows, Cash Book.

Key Skills / Requirements
Qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualification in a relevant field.
Provide accounts for 5 subsidiary businesses.
Knowledge of MI & analyses for budgeting & forecasting.
Desirable – Knowledge & input required around acquisitions.
Self-starter.
Strong knowledge and experience of Excel.
Desirable – Knowledge & experience Sage & Quick Book.
Understanding of key performers & cash flows.
