Job Title: Machine Operative
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk
Salary: £14.26p/h
Hours: Monday – Friday – Rotating shifts (40 hours per week)
Contract Type: Full time, Temporary – Permanent (12 weeks)
Sector: Manufacturing & Logistics
Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is seeking Machine Operatives to join their team on a full time, temp – perm basis.
As Machine Operative your duties will include:
- Following correct procedures to ensure machines are operating safely and practically
- Maintaining paperwork and record-keeping
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet the required standards
- Regularly inspecting machines
- Reporting any safety issues
- Quality checks for products.
An ideal candidate for the Machine Operative role will have:
- Previous machinery experience
- Some electrical knowledge
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- Ability to understand important documents and procedures
