The opportunity is to be the first Market Analyst in this business, helping them research emerging market opportunities driven by technology innovation, regulation, or shifting market behaviours. You will produce articulate reports and presentations to provide market opportunity assessment, positioning messages, ecosystem mapping, and potential response scenarios. Your output will shape strategic decisions within the business.

Some of your main activities will be to:

• Formulate plans for the research and assessment of identified emerging market opportunity areas
• Identify and utilise market research sources to catalogue and build a structured knowledge base
• Perform SWOT analysis
• Undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Undertake stakeholder interviews across the industry and within the company
• Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations
• Author and curate report and presentation materials for use within the company, and to support external communications

• Curiosity in the possibilities of evolving technologies and market needs
• An analytical approach with a healthy scepticism toward ideas and opportunities
• Market analysis experience (5+ years)
• Strong experience in sourcing & interpreting research data
• Excellent writing and presentation creation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
