Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year
Anderson Knight is recruiting a Commercial Financial Analyst for an organisation based in Glasgow. This newly created role will support the Financial Controller and Sales / Business Development function in assessing new business opportunities to ensure financial risks are properly recognised and addressed.
This is a key finance role within a dynamic and hugely important part of the business. The position incorporates a combination of estimating, modelling and stakeholder management at all levels. The role holder will be expected to drive business value by offering expert financial and analytical advice to aid decision-making.
The main responsibilities the Commercial Financial Analyst position entails are:
* Work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director to ensure all company new business targets are achieved.
* To collect and analyse data to estimate the time, cost, materials, and labour required to deliver the required services.
* Manage commercial activities with a high degree of acumen whilst identifying opportunities to add value throughout the project process.
* Ensure the acquisition of new business through commercially sound and competitive pricing
* Ensure the timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
* Maintain a risks/issues/opportunity register and ensure these are shared at relevant meetings and reviews
To be considered for the Commercial Finance Analyst position you must possess the following:
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)
* Strong communication skills
