Precision Farming Support Assistant

Salary: £30,000 per year

You will be responsible for providing telematics and Precision Farming support to customers,this will include installation, set up and maintenance of customer telematics accounts, along with providing training on how to get the best out of the system. You will also be responsible for operating a customer help line whereby you manage subscriptions and activations for correction signals and telematics, and provide customer support when required.

Good knowledge of GPS operating systems, the precision farming market and agricultural practices
(desirable, but related skills would be considered)
Previous experience of working within an agriculture-related field is desirable
Ability to troubleshoot
Experience in a Sales and Marketing environment
Solid organisational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
Excellent customer relation skills and can confidently provide advice and guidance to customers
A team player – capable of working alone and using own initiative or with other team staff
Accurate administration skills
Full driving licence

Additional Information
Start Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates notice period
Location: Maldon, Essex
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Additional hours as required which may include weekends as per rota especially
during peak periods e.g. Harvest
Term: Permanent, Full Time, Salaried
