Systems Engineer (North West, HyperV,VMWARE, XenServer)

This leading IT Solution provider based in the North West are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Technology Services team.
This IT solutions provider have been in business for over three decades and makes their clients and employees their main priority and are rated in the top 30 for the Best Small Company to Work For ratings by The Sunday Times.
This is a varied challenging role with regular opportunities to be involved with emerging technologies.

Candidates will ideally have attained a number of the following accreditations (or similar equivalents):-

* Microsoft MCSE
* Cisco CCNA / CCNP
* Citrix CCAA / CCEE
* VMWare VCP

The ideal candidate will have strong implementation skills in a similar reseller environment and would be expected to have knowledge in most of the following technical areas:-

* Windows Server
* Server Virtualisation (HyperV, VMware, XEN Server)
* MS Exhange
* CISCO IP Telephony
* Lync 2010/ 2013
* LAN / WAN and internet Connectivity
* Storage (SAN and NAS)
* CITRIX VDI, XENApp, XEN Desktop, VDI in a box
* IT Security, Symantec, McAfee, Forefront.

Non-technical skills should include:-

* Work individually or as part of a team
* A Can do attitude
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
* Some Project management exposure
* High quality technical writing skills.
